Description
The principality of Andorra adopted their national flag in 1866. The tricolor flag has three vertical bars from left to right in blue, yellow, and red. In the center of the yellow bar stands a coat of arms that represents ties to Spain and France. At the base of the coat of arms are the words “Virtus Unita Fortier,” which translates to “Virtue United is Stronger.”
