Description
Created in 1812, Argentina’s flag is composed of three parallel stripes – the center stripe of white represents clouds while the outer stripes of blue represent the sky. In 1818, the Sun of May icon added to the middle of the flag. Copied from the first Argentine coin, it is composed of 32 rays alternating between wavy and straight lines.
