The Catherine Palace is located in the town of Tsarskoye Selo, located to the south of St. Petersburg. The beautiful palace was designed with a Rococo style. The palace was originally covered in gold up until 1773. When it was first built, it served as a home for Russian rulers. The inside of the palace has a gorgeous chapel and a breathtaking ballroom.
