Description

The Dragon’s Backbone refers to a group of rice terraces in the Guangxi province, which is part of China. The nickname comes from the fact that the rice fields resemble the scales that are found along the back of a dragon. The fields were originally built by the Zhuang people around the year 1450. The rice fields extend all the way back towards the Yangshuo Mountain.
