Masai Mara is part of the Serengeti National Park, which is located in Narok County, Kenya. It is an important wildlife sanctuary that protects numerous species. One of the most well-known species that are protected are the wildebeests. Every year, the wildebeest travel across the plains in the Serengeti to find new grazing land. It is estimated that nearly two million wildebeest migrate to Masai Mara each year. All of the wildebeest migrating is considered to be one of the seven wonders of the world.
