The Hill of Crosses in Lithuania is a pilgrimage site for Christian faiths. The practice of leaving crosses on Domantai hill fort began sometime after 1831. As generations passed, people began to leave various items such as effigies, rosaries, and crucifixes. There was an estimated number of 100,000 crosses on the site in 2006. Try saying something from this place – “How are you?” “Kaip laikaisi?”
