Description

Lascaux is a series of caves located in the village of Montignac in France. The entrance to Lascaux was discovered in 1940 by a teenager. There are over 600 detailed paintings on the ceilings and interior walls of the caves. The artwork was painted over several generations around 17,000 years ago. The subjects of the paintings were large animals, humans, signs, and fauna. Try saying something from this place – “How is the weather?”: “Comment est le temp?”
