Description
This area in Africa is one of the largest salt flats in the world. The salt flat is the remains of an ancient lake that was once the size of Switzerland. Very little wildlife or plants can exist here, but when it rains, it does become a temporary habitat for zebras, wildebeests, and birds that migrate through the area.
