Description

The Richat Structure is also known as the Eye of the Sahara. It is located in the Sahara Desert in Africa. With a diameter of 25 miles, it was originally thought to be an asteroid impact crater. Geologists later determined it to be a geologic dome that has been deeply eroded. The prominent circular structure exposes various extrusive and intrusive igneous rocks. Try saying something from this place – “Nice to meet you” – “Tasharrafat bimuqabalatik.”
